Dreams don’t have to stay dreams
Open up to the possibility that you can do whatever you want for your business, but it means work. Not the kind of work that is drudgery and makes you feel tired and worn down. No, the kind of work that puts a smile on your face to do every day. You want to achieve new heights and fulfill your goals? It will not happen overnight, but it can happen.
Don’t let your mindset limit to you.
Con: I don’t have a vast home. I have a rented home.
Pro: It will not stop me from working for others from home to help them reach their goals.
Con: I have an older desktop computer by today’s standards.
Pro: But it gets the job done, and very well, I might add. I won’t let that hold me back.
Con: I don’t have unlimited start up cash.
Pro: I can work within my means, and so can you.
You Want Business Results?
Then develop a growth mindset and establish clear goals for your business. Don’t limit yourself to thinking inside the box. You can achieve the business success you want in this world. If you don’t have the knowledge or skill set, you can learn and succeed.
Now what?
Open up the box of tools you have and realize you don’t have to do everything on your own. There are many online freelancers and managers like myself who are more than capable and willing to help you.
You can reach out anytime to anyone of them, myself included with a proposal. My mother always said it never hurts to ask. It’s true. Cold emailing can be daunting. What if it’s not received well? Then you try again with someone else. This is a big wide world and not everyone is going to be a good fit for your business.
You may have a limited budget like myself, but that doesn’t need to hold you back. I have read a lot of posts from freelancers who argue that you shouldn’t undervalue yourself or your work. I argue back that lowering a cost for a potential client who is just beginning or has a more modest budget is good business. Why? Because if you do quality work for them when they can’t afford it, customer loyalty will bring them back later when they can afford it.
